News Update on Teacher's day speech
Schools in Delhi to attend live speech by the PM on 'Teacher's Day
As Teacher's Day is approaching, the Directorate of Education (DoE) of Delhi is all set to celebrate this day with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. DoE recently issued a notice to all the private and government schools to broadcast the live speech by the PM on the eve of 'Teacher's Day' on 5 September and have a 'Question and Answer' session for the students from 3.00 pm to 4.45 pm through television or internet. The municipal corporations have asked the respective Deputy Commissioners to arrange LCDs and TVs in the schools so that students can attend PM's speech. DoE has also given Rs. 50,000 to the schools to arrange or rent TVs and set top boxes for this live project. The leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) seems to leave no stone unturned to make the necessary arrangements.
